Moet Champagne and chandeliers belong together. The Chandeliers Ball is an event in the grandest of ballrooms where 100 of the world’s most imaginative chandeliers are unveiled.
Artists, designers and architects such as Zaha Hadid, Marc Newson, Ron Arad and Jeff Koons are invited to create a chandelier from materials of their choosing. It could be crystal or paper, or wood, glass, fabric, plastic, steel. Designed to be an exquisite, compelling sensory experience that evokes a strong emotional reaction, the opulent Chandeliers Ball will lavish attendees not only with champagne and chandeliers, but with the most decadent hors d'oeuvres and imaginative edibles. And when the clock strikes twelve, nothing will turn to pumpkins, as the symphony orchestra will continue to play and the dancing goes on. A silent auction takes bids throughout the evening both on site and online as the chandeliers are auctioned off to support a charity.
